It’s official now. Tollywood star Sundeep Kishan will be replacing Naga Chaitanya to play the lead character in upcoming Tamil thriller, ‘Naragasooran.’
“We met Sundeep last night (Wednesday) in Goa and pitched the story. He was very excited and he immediately came on board. We plan to start shooting from August-end or early September. We are targeting next year release,” Karthick Naren, who is helming the project shared.
The young director has made it big in Telugu with his thriller, 16. Naga Chaitanya has decided to drop out of the project, citing date issues, said the director, adding that he is looking forward to cast Nag in the future. The makers are in the process of finalising the heroine and will unveil the film’s title poster in May, said the director.
The movie also features Arvind Swami, Shriya Saran and Malayalam star Indrajith Sukumaran.
